March 16, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani banks predict an increase in demand for business loans in the 1st quarter of this year.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the results of the survey on lending activities of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

Banks expect that in the first 3 months of 2023, the demand for business loans will grow by 16%, including micro-loans by 16%, loans for small and medium-sized businesses by 14%, and loans for large businesses by 8%.

At the same time, the banks stated that they would continue to soften the standards for business loans, with the exception of loans to large business entities.
