March 2, Fineko/abc.az. The total net profit of the Turkish banking sector has increased sharply.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Turkish Banking Regulation & Supervision Authority (BRSA) that the total net profit of the banking sector in January 2023 increased by 95.7% to 39.3 bn liras.

For comparison, the total net profit of the Turkish banking sector in January 2022 amounted to 20.1 bn liras.

The capital adequacy ratio was 13%. In January 2022, this figure was 14%.
