February 24, Fineko/abc.az. In January 2023, the loan portfolio of banks increased by 0.4%, or by AZN 75.2 million, reaching AZN 19.669 bn, ABC.AZ was informed at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

The structure of the loan portfolio: I) Business loans – 55.2% (AZN 10.845 bn), II) consumer loans – 29.5% (AZN 5.8 bn) and III) mortgage loans - 15.3% (AZN 3.012 bn).

The share of overdue loans in the total loan portfolio (including NBCOs and credit unions) decreased by 1.2 p.p. compared with the same term of the previous year and made up 2.9%.
