ABC.AZ reports that Nasib Panakhli, the head of the CBA Cash Department’s Expertise Office, said this at seminar "Organization of cash turnover - 2023".
He noted that the more correctly we store and use banknotes, the less financial losses will be and the more successfully we will protect banknotes.
He noted that amendments will be made to the Law on the Central Bank of Azerbaijan concerning the definition of minimum requirements for equipment used when working with cash. In this regard, the Central Bank has already started monitoring.
He said that the CBA plans to create a new cash center in the country within 2 years. The new cash center will be fully automated.
