February 13, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank has already developed a new framework on the banking sector, on the basis of which a number of measures will be taken this year, ABC.AZ reports, citing Zakir Nuriyev, the president of the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan.
According to Nuriyev, measures on development of the banking sector will continue this year, the main measures that are planned to be implemented are the use of information technologies, terms of loan agreements and the issuance of loans, the measurement of risk and adequacy in banks, consideration and implementation of the current rules for creating reserves.
Speaking about the fact that the use of information technologies will continue to be a priority, Nuriyev noted that in 2023, banks' profits are projected to grow.
