February 13, Fineko/abc.az. As part of the 10th package of sanctions against Russia, the EU may impose restrictions against four banks, including Alfa-Bank, ABC.AZ reports with reference to newspaper Politico.
The paper does not specify the names of other banks that may also fall under sanctions.
In addition, the EU is expected to impose a ban on export of trucks, construction equipment and electronic components to Russia. Restrictions are also planned against a shipping company from the UAE suspected of circumventing anti-Russian sanctions.
