January 11, Fineko/abc.az. In 2022, the financial flow in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 26.4 bn (9.5% more than in 2021).
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan that in the 4th quarter of 2022, as well as in the same period of 2021, the spheres of economic activity with the largest share in the total amount of payment receipts were public administration and defense, social security (21.3%), construction (19.8%) and trade, repair of vehicles (15.8%). The main areas of economic activity that made the greatest contribution to growth of revenues for the 2021 same term were construction (a rise of AZN 1.979 bn) and trade, repair of vehicles (a rise of AZN 1.418 bn).
As a whole, over the past quarter, the largest growth occurred in the real estate sectors (2.1-fold), construction (61%) and trade, vehicle repair (52%), and the largest decrease was in electricity, gas, steam supply (-34%), financial and insurance activities (-28%) and services in other industries (-26%).
