December 15, Fineko/abc.az. The number of bank cards issued to the population in Azerbaijan has been made public.

ABC.AZ reports that the figures were announced by MasterCard CEO for Azerbaijan & Turkiye Avshar Gurdal during a press conference dedicated to the results of 2022

He noted that there are 13 million bank cards per 10 million people in Azerbaijan.

According to Gurdal, 40% of bank card payments relate to purchases (trade). The share of payments in e-commerce is 60%.
