October 28, Fineko/abc.az. The application of a new operating system of monetary policy in Azerbaijan since 1 September has begun to affect interest rates on the interbank market.

ABC.AZ reports that CBA chairman Taleh Kazimov said this at a press conference.

He noted that interbank interest rates are formed in accordance with the discount rate:

"One of our main goals is also that the discount rate affects the market faster and plays a role in regulating inflation."
