August 26, Fineko/abc.az. The data on the gross domestic product (GDP) of the US economy for the period from April to June has been updated.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the US Department of Commerce, over this period, the economy shrank by 0.6% year on year. Initial data showed a decline of 0.9%.

The strong trend in consumer spending led to an upward revision of the data. Consumer spending was revised from 1% to 1.5%.

The country's economy shrank by 1.6% in the first quarter.
