August 18, Fineko/abc.az. In January-June of this year, the average monthly nominal salary in Azerbaijan's information and communication sector stood at AZN 2,147.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the average salary reached AZN 1,908 in the public sector and AZN 2,292 in the private sector. Compared to the same period last year, the sector's average monthly salary increased by 12.7%, with public sector wages surging by 20.5% and private sector wages rising by 7.4%.

As of July 1, 2026, the number of hired workers in the ICT sector reached 34.2 thousand people, representing a 0.3% decline year-on-year.
