April 20, Fineko/abc.az. Medtest LLC will establish the production of glucose meters (a device for measuring blood sugar levels) and strips on the territory of the industrial park.

ABC.AZ was informed at the industrial park that the production will be organized by Medtest LLC. Investments in the project will amount to AZN 2.75 million ($1.6 million). Of them, 82% (AZN 2.255 million) will be the funds of Medtest, another 18% (AZN 495,000) of the Azerbaijani Investment Company.

"At the first stage, the manufactured products will be supplied to the local market to meet domestic demand," the industrial park noted.

The company will open 20 permanent jobs.
