April 15, Fineko/abc.az. According to preliminary data, as of 1 April 2022, the number of economically active population in Azerbaijan amounted to 5.307 million people.

Of them, 4.99 million people are employed and 315,400 people or 5.94% are unemployed, ABC.AZ with reference to the State Statistics Committee’s monthly report.

As of 1 March 2022, the number of employees reached 1.68 million people, including 902,500 people in the state sector of the economy and 779,600 people in the private sector.
