March 30, Fineko/abc.az. Due to the decrease in the number of cases of coronavirus infection in Azerbaijan, the activities of some modular institutions and hospitals have been suspended, ABC.AZ was informed at the Association for the Management of Medical Territorial Units (TƏBIB).

Within the framework of measures to combat COVID-19, the activities of the modular type hospitals subordinate to TƏBIB are regulated in accordance with the increase and decrease in the number of active infections.

"The number of patients undergoing treatment in medical institutions throughout the republic was reviewed and analyzed. In connection with sharp decrease in the number of infected, the activities of some institutions, including modular type hospitals, have been suspended in order to optimize and effectively use all types of resources.

Traditional services have been restored in some hospitals involved in the fight against COVID-19 in the districts and Baku," TƏBIB informed.
