March 14, Fineko/abc.az. In the first month of 2022 the average monthly nominal wage of salaried employees in the Azerbaijani economy increased by 10.9% (versus January 2021) up to 765.9 manats.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that 19.8% of wage earners are employed in education, 18.7% in trade; vehicle repair, 12.8% in industry, 8.1% in healthcare and social services, 7.1% in construction, 6.7% in public administration and defense; social security, 4.3% in transport and warehousing, 3.5% in agriculture, forestry and fishing, 3.4% were engaged in professional, scientific and technical activities, 1.9% financial and insurance activities, 13.7% in other spheres of the economy.
