March 14, Fineko/abc.az. In January 2022, the average monthly nominal wage of employees in the country's economy increased by 10.9% (against January 2021) up to 765.9 manats.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that the average monthly nominal salary was higher in the mining industry, financial and insurance activities, information and communications, professional, scientific and technical activities, construction, transport and warehousing.

As of 1 February of this year, the number of wage employees in the Azerbaijani economy amounted to 1.679 million people, including 901,000 ones in the state sector and 778,100 in the private sector.
