March 11, Fineko/abc.az. The total amount of money allocated from the State Budget to finance healthcare expenses of administrative-territorial units not covered by health insurance reached AZN 989.3 million.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in Cabinet Ministers’ report for 2021.

In 2021, 55,000 medical workers (16,500 doctors and 38,500 people of secondary medical personnel) worked in medical institutions subordinate to TƏBIB within the framework of the CHI. During this period, 4,053,600 citizens used medical services. In accordance with the order of application of compulsory health insurance for administrative-territorial units of the country for 2021, the State Budget money designed to finance insurance premiums and health care costs of administrative-territorial units not covered by compulsory health insurance amounted to AZN 989.3 million.
