February 25, Fineko/abc.az. Since the beginning of 2022 the salaries of 165,000 teachers have increased by an average of 20%, reaching an average of 550 manats up to 660 manats.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Labor & Social Protection Ministry that an additional AZN 273 million was allocated for this growth for the year.

The reforms covered a group of employees of military organs and law enforcement agencies. Since the beginning of the year, a 20% surcharge has been applied to their monthly official salary, the salary of civilian employees of these organizations has also increased by 20%. AZN 157 million will be spent on these allowances during the year.

In general, the reform package for 2022, which implies an increase in wages, pensions and other social benefits, covers 3.4 million people. Annual funds in the amount of AZN 2.1 bn have been allocated for these increases.
