February 18, Fineko/abc.az. The average monthly salary reached 732.1 manats in Azerbaijan, according to the report as of 1 January 2022.

The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan informs that the city with the highest average monthly salary is Baku. Thus, the average monthly salary in the capital amounted to 948.9 manats.

The second district with high salary is Dashkesan - 709.4 manats. Gedabek is in the third place – 668.1 manats, Sumgait is in 4th place - 647.2 manats, Sadarak district is in 5th place - 626.7 manats.

The lowest average monthly salary in the country was recorded in the Gakh, Khizi and Agdam districts. According to statistics, as of 1 October 2021 the average monthly salary in Gakh was 399.4 manats, in Khizi - 420.1 manats, in Agdam district - 413.6 manats.
