February 17, Fineko/abc.az. The creation of 69,000 new jobs was recorded in Azerbaijan last year.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that 88.8% of the jobs were created in the private sector for this period.
The rate of creation of new jobs made up 77.1% in Baku, 0.6% in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, 22.3% in other regions, including 4.7% in Absheron, 3.8% in Ganja-Dashkesan, 2.3% in Lankaran-Astara, 2.2% in Guba-Khachmaz, 2% in Sheki-Zakatala, 1.5% in Gazakh-Tovuz, 1.4% in Shirvan-Salyan, 1.3% in Central Aran, 1% in Karabakh, 1% in Mugan, 0.8% in Mountainous Shirvan, 0.3% in eastern Zangezur economic regions. 10.1% of jobs were created in newly-established enterprises and organizations, 87.2% in existing enterprises and organizations, 0.6% in restored enterprises and organizations, 2.1% for other activities.
