April 12, Fineko/abc.az. The number of people receiving social benefits and compensations has increased in Azerbaijan.

State Statistics Committee’s chair Tahir Budagov has stated that as of 1 January of the year 376,100 people receive benefits and compensations in the country that is by 4.4% more than for the 2017 same term.

"80,100 families or 326,600 people of the country are receiving targeted social assistance, which has been given since 1 July 2016," Budagov emphasized.
