July 8, Fineko/abc.az. "For people infected with coronavirus 6 months ago, it is currently enough to get a dose of the vaccine," ABC.AZ reports citing Deputy Health Minister Viktor Gasimov.

The deputy minister said that these people do not need a second dose of the vaccine: "But in any case, this issue will be clarified in the coming days."

According to the decision of the Scientific & Medical Council of the Ministry of Health, the validity period of the Certificate of Immunity will be extended for 6 months if citizens who have suffered from the disease receive a single dose of any COVID-19 vaccine used in Azerbaijan after 6 months after recovery.
