July 5, Fineko/abc.az. The UAE, the Republic of Seychelles and Bahrain are leading among the countries vaccinating the population against a new coronavirus infection.

ABC.AZ reports that Bloomberg agency’s experts named the countries leading in terms of the percentage of the population vaccinated against coronavirus (COVID-19).

The rating was led by the UAE, where 15.5 million vaccinations have been made to date - 72.3% of the UAE population have received protection from coronavirus. The use of Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine has been approved in the country.

Next are the Seychelles, where 138,000 people have been vaccinated  (71.7% of the population). The 23rd place is occupied by Bahrain - 2.07 million people, or 69.7% of the population.
