June 30, Fineko/abc.az. A medical center for primary medical care is being created on the basis of the Baku Main Health Department, and the process will be completed soon, ABC.AZ reports citing director of Clinical Medical Center #1 Kenul Alekperov.

He noted that the structures relating to the primary health service will be united in this medical center:

"The women's consultation of Maternity Hospital #5 will also be part of the Primary Health Care Medical Center. Highly specialized doctors in polyclinics to be subordinate to the Center will be transferred to the subordination of the Clinical Medical Center. As a result, the primary health care service will be separated from medical care."
