May 17, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 April 2021 the number of employees in the country's economy exceeded 1.679 million people (by 33,600 people or 2% more against Jan-Mar 2020), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Of them, 915,300 people worked in the public sector of the economy and 764,400 in the non-state sector.
