Quantity of employees in public and private sectors reported

February 19, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 January 2021 the number of employees reached 1.69 million persons in Azerbaijan, according to preliminary data.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the public sector of the domestic economy is numbering 910,800 employees and the non–state sector 781,000 ones. There are 33,800 employees in the oil & gas sector and 1.658 million ones in the nonoil sector of the economy.
