February 2, Fineko/abc.az. The director-general of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, made a promising statement in connection with the current infection rate throughout the world.

ABC.AZ reports that the WHO’s director-general noted a decline in the number of new Covid-19 infections around the world for the third week in a row: "So far, there have been many countries where the infection rate has been on the rise, but at the global level the news about decline in the number of new infections is encouraging. This means that even with the emergence of new strains, the virus can be kept under control."
