June 24, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has announced the amount of wages of employees of the financial and insurance sector.

ABC.AZ reports that as of 1 January the average salary of financiers and insurers in the public sector was 1,680 manats and in the private sector 1,619 manats.

But over the past 4 months wages in finance and insurance in the private sector have grown faster. During this period the average salary in the private sector increased by 448 manats or 27.7% and reached 2,067 manats. And the salaries of public sector employees grew only by 53 manats, or 32% up to 1,733 manats.
