May 12, Fineko/abc.az. The number of people infected with COVID-19 in the world has exceeded 4 million.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that the statement was made by World Health Organization’s Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus at a briefing.

He recalled that today there are more than 4 million COVID-19 infections registered in the world, and noted that many countries have already begun to gradually eliminate the restrictions imposed in connection with the fight against COVID-19.

In his opinion, such actions should be gradual, with taking into account the development of the situation with the pandemic in each individual country.
