August 8, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee reports that as of 1 July the number of employees in the Azerbaijani economy increased by 4.4% (versus the same term of 2018) up to 1.613 million people.

Of them, 903,400 employees worked in the public sector and 710,300 ones in the private sector of the economy.
