August 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan reports that the exemption of up to AZN 8,000 of wages of individuals in the private division of the non-oil sector from income tax for the 7-year period gives important financial results in the country.

Thus, as a result of the application of subsidies for the first 6 months of this year, more than 77,000 labor contracts were registered in the non-state sector. That makes up 75% of the number of labor contracts increased by more than 101,000 during this period.

By the end of Jan-Jul 2019 the growth of all employment contracts in Azerbaijan amounted to 109,000, including up to 84,000 in the private sector.
