January 11, Fineko/abc.az. The Cabinet Ministers of Azerbaijan has approved the amendments to the list of excisable imported goods by Decision #20.

According to the amendments, imported alcoholic and non-alcoholic energy drinks, as well as mixtures for electronic cigarettes will be subject to excise tax.

In particular, excise tax for each liter of imported alcoholic energy drink is set at 2 manats and non-alcoholic drink 3 manats, while for each liter of mixture for electronic cigarettes 20 manats.

Also, cigars with tobacco composition will be taxed 1 manat for each cigar.

The amendments have been valid from 10 February.
