September 23, Fineko/abc.az. Chinese automotive giant Geely Automobile Holdings has unveiled next-generation ultra-fast charging technology and advanced artificial intelligence integrations to counter market leader BYD.

Geely's newly introduced infrastructure aims to recharge EV batteries in as little as 4 minutes, while its in-house AI platforms optimize battery health, real-time energy efficiency, and autonomous driving assistance. The company stated that reducing charge times to levels comparable with conventional refueling is key to capturing additional market share in the EV segment.

Industry analysts view Geely’s aggressive technology rollout as a direct move to challenge BYD’s dominance across domestic and international markets, particularly in Europe. By integrating high-power charging architectures with AI-driven vehicle software, Geely seeks to address consumer range anxiety and differentiate its brand portfolio.
