September 18, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) acquired seven mainline locomotives in China.

These locomotives have already been delivered to Azerbaijan.

Chinese company CRRC Ziyang Co., Ltd was engaged in the production of locomotives.

In June of this year, ADY and CRRC Ziyang signed another contract providing for the supply of 4 new mainline passenger locomotives. Their delivery to Azerbaijan is scheduled for 2027.
