September 14, Fineko/abc.az. American automaker Ford is recalling approximately 223,500 vehicles in the United States over potential fuel tank defects. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), improper attachment of the fuel tanks poses a risk of detachment while driving, while fuel leaks could cause engine stalling or increase the risk of fire.

The recall affects select 2023-2027 model year F-150 trucks. Authorized dealerships will inspect and replace the fuel tank straps free of charge if necessary.
