August 31, Fineko/abc.az. Chinese automaker BYD’s premium Yangwang U7 electric sedan completed an extreme endurance test, driving 30,000 kilometers over 9 days at an average speed of 240 km/h.

The test took place in Nanning, China, under harsh weather conditions with temperatures exceeding +36 °C and humidity reaching 80%. Throughout the run, the climate control system maintained a constant +24 °C in the cabin. To sustain the continuous track run, the vehicle underwent over 350 ultra-fast charging sessions.

According to BYD, despite the severe operational stress, the battery retained 98.7% of its original capacity, recording a degradation of just 1.3%.
