Private Credit Roundup: Institutional Investors Step Up Allocations to Asia

August 29, Fineko/abc.az. Institutional investors are increasing their allocations to private credit in Asia as asset managers actively expand across a region that currently represents a small but rapidly growing portion of the global market.

Demonstrating this rising interest, Granite Asia has raised over $500 million for its pan-Asian private credit strategy, while Partners Group secured a $1 billion mandate.

Despite traditional banking dominance in the region, the growing demand for alternative corporate financing is driving global institutional capital toward Asian private debt strategies.
