August 28, Fineko/abc.az. The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication has presented the August 2026 issue of the "Export Review".

According to the review, in January–July 2026, the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan ("Azercosmos") provided telecommunications services worth $15.2 million to nearly 95 companies from 35 countries worldwide. Export operations accounted for 62 percent of the total revenue generated during this period.

The top five destinations for satellite telecommunications service exports were the United Kingdom ($2.5 million), Luxembourg ($1.9 million), Turkey ($730.3 thousand), Pakistan ($669.3 thousand), and Egypt ($382.5 thousand). Considered a new-generation service export, satellite telecommunications play a crucial role in diversifying service exports.
