August 26, Fineko/abc.az. Supported by the Azexport portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), another export operation to the Caribbean region has been successfully completed.

Locally produced pomegranate juice in 200 ml and 1000 ml packaging, exported by Hub Trade, was shipped by sea from Georgia's Port of Poti to the Dominican Republic after passing customs control. Free sale certificates were pre-issued for the shipment.

Aykhan Gadashov, head of Azexport, highlighted that the Caribbean countries represent a promising and high-purchasing-power market for Azerbaijani goods. Establishing supply routes to the Americas via the Port of Poti contributes to diversifying the country's non-oil export geography.

Registration and sales operations on the Azexport portal remain commission-free for local producers.
