August 24, Fineko/abc.az. According to the State Customs Committee, Azerbaijan imported $305.178 million worth of pharmaceutical products in January–July 2026, representing a 2.77% decrease compared to the same period last year.

Pharmaceutical exports during the reporting period also fell by 13.51% to $1.487 million. Pharmaceutical products accounted for 3.09% of total imports and 0.01% of total exports.

In the first 7 months, Azerbaijan's total foreign trade turnover grew by 1.3% to reach $29 billion 216 million. Exports accounted for $19 billion 336 million, while imports stood at $9 billion 881 million. Over the past year, exports surged by 27%, whereas imports dropped by 27.4%.
