July 22, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2026, Azerbaijan exported 135,640 tons of tomatoes for $163.847 million, the State Customs Committee informs.

The indicator is $14.82 million (9.9%) more and 1,265.2 tons (0.9%) more in volume against Jan-Jun 2025.

Tomato export earnings made up 1% of Azerbaijan's overall export revenues.

In the first 6 months of the year, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $24.66 million (1.1% more than a year ago), including exports for $16.32 billion (a rise by 26.7%) and imports for $8.341 billion (a drop by 27.6%).

In the end, foreign trade surplus reached $7.979 billion (5.9-fold more than a year ago).
