July 22, Fineko/abc.az. Samsung Electronics is considering an investment of approx. €1 bn in French startup Mistral AI as part of a new funding round that could value the company at around €20 bn.

The deal is still under discussion, its parameters may change. If implemented, it will be one of Samsung's largest investments in the European AI sector and will strengthen its collaboration with Mistral AI, which the company already supports through its venture capital division.

EQT (Sweden) is also displaying an interest to the round.
