July 20, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2026, our country imported 3,420 motor vehicles for $30.587 million for cargo transportation from abroad, the State Customs Committee informs.

Compared with Jan-Jun 2025, the number of trucks imported in Azerbaijan decreased by 590 vehicles (14.7%) and their total value by $18.102 million (37.2%).

In the 1st half of 2025, Azerbaijan imported 4,010 trucks for $48.689 million.

The average price of one truck imported this year was $8,943 (15,203 manats). The figure is $3.199 million (5,438 manats), or 26.3%, cheaper than the average price of trucks imported in the 1st half of 2025. Last year, the average cost of a truck imported into the country was $12.142 million (20,641 manats).
