July 16, Fineko/abc.az. When developing information system One Stop Shop (Single Window), more than 150 business processes of more than 30 government agencies and companies were analyzed, which formed the basis of the requirements for the system.
Project manager of the Digital Logistics Platform (DLP) Ehtiram Guliyev made the relevant statement at the presentation of info system One Stop Shop - Digital Logistics Platform.
According to Guliyev, creation of One Stop Shop is conditioned by the necessity for a more efficient organization of existing processes in the field of transport and logistics: "The main goal is to combine all processes related to foreign economic activity on a single digital platform, and to create a more flexible, transparent, and efficient management model. At the same time, tracking cargo documents in real time, increasing regional competitiveness, and optimizing costs are the main objectives of the system."
He noted that the platform was developed using the methodologies and standards of international organizations. In addition, meetings were held with more than 400 business entities to identify the real needs of the market at various times, and their proposals and needs were studied."
Guliyev noted that the One Stop Shop approach is not just a local technical solution. He added that this model has been successfully introduced in many countries around the world and has proven its effectiveness in the fields of trade and logistics. He cited Singapore, South Korea, the Netherlands, and Estonia as examples.
"International experience shows that creation of such systems is a gradual and long-term process. In Azerbaijan, technical work on the creation of the One Stop Shop info system began in August 2024 and is still ongoing. Based on the initial analysis, the main directions for development of the platform have been outlined. Our mission is to fully digitize the import, export, and transit processes through the One Stop Shop info system, ensuring their traceability, improving service quality, and enhancing operational efficiency," he said.
