June 26, Fineko/abc.az. Kazakhstan is evaluating potential downstream trade vectors to start importing aviation fuel (jet fuel) from Azerbaijan to strengthen its domestic fuel inventory stability.

According to ABC.AZ, Kazakhstan's Minister of Energy Erlan Akkenzhenov confirmed the alternative supply framework during a press briefing.

"We are considering the possibility of importing aviation fuel from Turkmenistan, as well as from neighboring countries, such as Azerbaijan," the Energy Minister stated. Energy analysts note that tapping into Caspian maritime transport corridors will structurally support Kazakhstan's supply-side resilience for its commercial aviation hubs.
