June 19, Fineko/abc.az. The opening of the Zangezur Corridor will strengthen Azerbaijan's role as a logistics center.
ABC.AZ informs that AZPROMO Executive Director Yusif Abdullayev made the relevant statement during the 51st annual meeting of the Islamic Development Bank Group in Baku.
"Logistics and warehousing are considered to be among the most promising areas for investment in Azerbaijan. Located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, the country plays an important role as a transit and logistics center. Investment opportunities in this area include logistics parks, Class A warehouses, refrigeration complexes, distribution centers, container terminals, forwarding services and digital logistics platforms. The commissioning of the Zangezur corridor is assessed as one of the important factors that will strengthen the country's transit potential," Abdullayev said.
