June 19, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are rising in Friday’s trading, but are ending the week with sharp decline.
As of 09:50, on the ICE Futures exchange, the price of August’s Brent crude futures grew by $0.24 (0.30%) up to $80.90 per barrel. Following the trading on June 18, the contract increased in price by $0.30 (0.38%) up to $79.85 per barrel.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), July’s futures for WTI crude oil rose by $0.71 (0.93%) to $77.31 per barrel by 09:50. Following the trading on June 18, the contract price decreased by $0.19 (0.25%) to $76.60 per barrel.
The price of Azerbaijani crude oil Azeri Light dropped by $2.54 (3.08%) to $80.06 per barrel.
This week, Brent fell by 7.36%, WTI by 8.9%, Azeri Light by 11.5%.
