June 12, Fineko/abc.az. The decrease in the amount of transferring projects in expenditures on public capital investments in Azerbaijan in 2025 compared to the previous year gave reason to conclude about a priority of financing for new projects.

ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in Accounts Chamber’s conclusion on the Bill on Execution of State Budget 2025.

In 2025, 2.305 billion manats were executed through state capital investments. Taking into account the projects implemented jointly with foreign credit institutions, the financing covered 352 projects for 40 customers.

Of this amount, 711.9 million manats (30.9%) were allocated to finance 151 new projects, and 1.593 billion manats (69.2%) were allocated to 201 transitional projects.

Compared to the "Budget Package" for 2025, the number of projects increased by 186, but the total amount of financing decreased by 380.2 million manats (14.1%).

Compared to 2024, the financing for new projects lowered by 163.8 million manats, but their number increased by 16 (11.9%).

Also, compared to 2025, the number of transfer projects decreased by 28 and their financing dropped by 272.5 million manats, or by 16.2%.
