June 8, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2026, Azerbaijan sent the largest volume of exports among EU countries to Italy.

ABC.AZ reports, citing data from the State Customs Committee, that goods worth $3.709 billion were exported from Azerbaijan to Italy (9.81% or $403.66 million less versus Jan-Apr 2025).

Azerbaijan imported goods from Italy for $153.889 million (2.1% or $3.94 million more in annual terms).

According to the report, these figures made up 31.23% of Azerbaijan's overall exports and 2.79% of country's total imports.

It is noted that Greece ($336.604 million) and Bulgaria ($335.6 million) are also among the EU countries to which Azerbaijan exported most of all products in 4 months.
