June 6, Fineko/abc.az. SpaceX, the aerospace manufacturer led by billionaire Elon Musk, has announced a massive cloud services agreement to provide computing capacity to tech giant Google.
ABC.AZ reports that according to a filing submitted to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Google will pay SpaceX $920 million per month from October 2026 through June 2029.
AI Framework and Infrastructure Details:
Supercomputing Power: Under the terms of the deal, the computing infrastructure supplied to Google will feature approximately 110,000 Nvidia Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), alongside Central Processing Units (CPUs), memory blocks, and other required hardware components.
Gradual Rollout: The deployment of the infrastructure capacity will scale up progressively through the end of September. During this interim transition phase, a lower pro-rated fee structure will be applied.
Intellectual Property Rights: The contract explicitly guarantees that Google will retain full ownership and intellectual property (IP) rights over its underlying content, proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) models, and related datasets.
